Having been born and raised in beautiful Lake Tahoe California, it is no surprise that Russell has a passion for the outdoors and an appreciation for awe-inspiring landscapes. Upon graduating, Russell moved to the Bow Valley in 2010 to pursue his dream of becoming an Olympic cross-country ski racer for Team Canada. In conjunction with his growth in the sport, Russell was captivated by his backdrops. In between intense training sessions, Russell spent all his time fine-tuning his videography and photography skills, as he captured the landscape that surrounded him. Russell has centered himself as one of the Bow Valley’s most diverse and idiosyncratic videographers/photographers working for companies such as Buff, Snapchat, and Nordiq Canada. Along with his commercial work, Russell has committed himself to another photographic passion; showcasing love in the mountains. With countless weddings under his belt, Russell has developed an unparalleled eye for detail, which allows his films to showcase the individuality of each couple. Russell’s passion for telling stories through film will leave you with a lifetime of memories that you and your partner will cherish forever.

Born and raised in Canmore, Alberta, Chloe has always had an impeccable eye and devotion to photography. In combination, Chloe’s passion for the outdoors has pushed her to step foot in unimaginable places around the globe, where she has been able to capture breathtaking photos featured by many businesses such as Wild Life Distillery and Arcteryx. Chloe’s precise skill set led us to know she was the perfect fit to join the Black and White team in 2018. Chloe’s lifetime in Canmore and exploring nearly every corner of the Bow Valley grants her a distinctive edge when it comes to choosing the perfect destinations for engagement or wedding day photos. When Chloe does not have a camera in hand, she is either teaching a barre class to locals at Wildheart Studio, summiting new peaks, camping in the backcountry to explore the vast wilderness, eating tacos, or snuggling her Aussie Shepherd Rowan. Chloe’s loving personality and photography talents will allow you to enjoy every minute of your day and be left with a lifetime of memories to share with generations to come.
